Bugatti Divo

I present to you the LEGO Technic version of the Bugatti Divo.

Like in real life it is a modification of the Chiron. This MOC is based on one of the colour schemes you can choose if you order one. In real life, to order a Divo you must own a Chiron. With this MOC it helps with costs if you own a Chiron. It's recommended, but not necessary. The Chiron comes with around 70% of the parts needed to build this, the missing parts are mostly common ones but as always some might be harder to find. Click this link to immediately see which parts you need besides a 42083 Bugatti Chiron.

This Bugatti Divo is built on the chassis of the Bugatti Chiron by The LEGO Group. However, we kindly got permission to use a pimped up version from Rebrickable member jb70, who has created some wonderful instructions for pimped up sets. Please do check out his work - they are truly fantastic!
As such, this Divo comes with fixed up suspension and gearbox as well as HOG steering with Ackermann geometry and HOG shifting.

A few notes about the model and the instructions:
 - In the instructions, some parts have been substituted or couldn't be properly attached. This includes the wheels (replaced with Porsche wheels), rubber bands (in place but not stretched), some rigid hoses (check the very last page for the lengths) and the exhaust.
 - The model depicted in the instructions is slightly different from the image here on Rebrickable. It has undergone some changes for the digital file as well as real life since the picture was taken.
 - Despite the added playability, it's still very much a shelf/display model. It's won't fall apart by any means, but there are bits that can fall off easily.

About the rare parts... We did our best to replace as many as possible. It's already far less than version 1, but there are still a few. Some can not be changed, but others can be. Some affect the looks, some won't as much.
 - The exhaust (49828) can be hard to find, but it's possible to MOC something brickbuilt.
 - Two white connectors (32039) are used to create the French flag on the fenders. You could use a bush (3713) instead.
 - Two blue bushes (3713) on the doors can be changed to a 3L pin with stop bush, if you change the white bush to a 1L round pin connector.
 - Five white bushes are used. These could be replaced by a 1L round pin connector.
 - Four 1x5 dark blue liftarms - sadly cannot be replaced with a substitute. You can make them black but they are very visible from the outside.

 - Two dark blue 3x11 curved panels - if you can't order them separately, you can look for a cheap second hand 42033 set, which comes with two.
 - 22 dark blue 1x3x0.5 liftarms are used in the model. 10 of them have to be thin, the other 12 can be changed for 6x 1x3 thick.

The instructions were kindly created by Lorenzo van der Heijden, who has already built his Divo to test the instructions and fixed most of the errors found. It is still possible to find one. In such case, please do not hesitate to contact one of us or leave it in a comment, and we'll get a new version out in less than a day.

Latest and improved instructions now available through new link.
