Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera

Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera. It is buildable in red and white exactly as seen in the photo. As finishing touch, you can apply the decals of sets 75888 or 75895, which will require cutting (and a steady hand) if you build the car in red. I use black automotive windscreen vinyl, which is very thin and sticks rather well to the bricks.
A full-size mini figure fits inside the car. Although the MOC is intended as a display model, it will be largely fine in the hands of a careful 8 or 9 year old as long as you appreciate that it wasn't designed to withstand hard play.

I have just created your MOC, I must say that it is very well done !!!! for certain solutions higher than the Lego ones :) ...
There are some points of the instructions to be improved .. but still understandable ...

Very good work on the front. Those mudguards are not easy to fill, nice use of snot in this area! Build mine with a few mods as 964 Carrera4.

Thank you. Have you got any photos of your 964 C4 version posted up anywhere?

classic never dies. 911's design is still fashionable in 2019.

This looks better in red than the Lego bright green plus I like your small design changes better as well so I might build yours and change my existing 75888 into a Cabrio or use it for another MOC.

Great design. But it‘s a Turbo, no Carrera ;)

true. plus it is a modification of the 75888-1 set

I wasn’t sure whether to list it as a mod. The build is an evolution of my 911 MOC that started long before 75888 was introduced. They both look like Porsches so inevitably there will be similarities. Anyway, fine with it if people are seeing it as a mod.

I don't think so. I built this moc and there are significant differences, but also similarities between these models. There is enough work done in this model to be a moc imho. Great work!

Thanks, yes it could be a Turbo, but it is intended as a Carrera.  Some of the Carreras came with the whale tail spoiler. What distinguishes it from a Turbo are the shape of the wheel arches (as far as Lego bricks allow you to distinguish). Those on the Turbo are rounder.
