31034 Semi Cab Transformer
Semi Cab Mode Features:
Drives like a non-tranforming semi cab would
Does not come unfolded unless you want it to
Cab that tips forward
Rear view mirrors
Robot Mode Features:
Legs with moving hips, knees, and ankles.
Arms with moving shoulder joints, elbows, wrists, and fingers.
Good, strong, feet. (Robot will not stand up unless it's on a hard/supporting surface, i.e., it won't stand on a blanket but it will stand on a counter, shelf, hard floor, etc.)
Head that moves side to side and up and down
The transformation process is a little more complicated than some of my previous transformers. You can probably figure it out from the pics, but I will try to explain it anyway, starting from semi cab mode. To convert it from a robot back to the truck, just follow the steps in reverse order.
Step 1. Unfold the side top parts of the semi's roof. These are part of the arms.
Step 2. Unfold the "doors." A.k.a. the rest of the arms.
Step 3. Now that the arms are out of the way, you can hinge the back part of the cab up and forward so that the former roof covers up the front grill. This will be the face.
Step 4. Take both sides of the chassis and hinge them downward. These are the legs.
Step 5. The very back of the chassis sections are the feet, so hinge those downward.
Step 6. Stand the robot up on it's feet, and you're done!
I had a lot of fun building this MOC, and I hope you will too!
